The Ax60+ O2 Sensor provides an early warning of both oxygen depletion and oxygen enrichment. The sensor unit should be connected to the Central Unit by quick connect cable and is set by default to trigger low-going alarms at both 19.5% and at 18% and a high-going alarm at 23%.
The alarm set points for the O2 Sensor can be changed by the user using the Central Unit display to comply with any specific jurisdictional requirements or local legislation. If you would like more information on the latest regulations and codes surrounding gas detection and workplace exposure limits, please visit our Regulations and Guidance page.
Gas Detectors Direct recommends that the O2 Sensor should be installed at normal working head height and will monitor an area of 80m³, unless your risk assessment or local legislation states otherwise.
Each Sensor unit comes with 15m of cable and 2m cable hard wired to the unit.
Please note that your Sensor unit will not work without an Ax60+ Central Unit or an alarm.
